2 lbs fillet fish cut in suitable portions 2 tablespoons cornflour
1/2 lb peeled grapes 1 pint milk
2 large tablespoons butter 2 cups grated cheese
Method:
Sprinkle salt and pepper on fish portions. Bake in casserole in a moderate oven with a little butter till cooked. When cooked, remove from oven - spread on flat platter, spread whole grapes in all cavities and over fish.
Make a white sauce with cornflour, butter and milk. Add salt and pepper, then grated cheese. Pour over fish, brown in oven and serve with mashed potatoes.
