Sympathy across the miles

I have no magic words
to ease your aching heart.
No potion nor salve
to ease the pain
of  loosing
someone you held dear.
Yet know that
I shall wipe away your tears,
as best I can,
and murmer
across the page
that things will be alright.
Feel in your heart
even miles apart
my hand
holding yours.
Holding it tight.
You are not alone,
my heart is there with you.
