My Aunty May passed away a few days ago. She went suddenly. Stumbled at home, fell and was gone in the next moment. Just like that. She would have turned 90 next January.
One of my cousins had this tribute to say about her:
"Aunty May was a dear aunt. Whenever she visited, she never failed to bring food items for everyone, be it bags of chocolates, nuts , dried scallop, mushrooms etc. Her heavy suitcase was not filled with clothes, but with these little gestures of love! ...We will miss her little anecdotes about her life experiences, her moments with Uncle Graeme, her times with her siblings, her working days with the University, her overseas travels etc. Her philosophy in life was to always remain positive, happy and never bear grudges. ...Will always remember her frequent signature parting phrase: “Be good, and don’t do anything I wouldn’t do!"
I'm sure she's with Uncle Graeme now, enjoying a cup of Chinese tea.
